STRYK DEFENSE™ — Setting a New Standard in Snake-Resistant Protection
Launching Soon
Most snake-gaiter brands rely on vague marketing language, non-standard demonstrations, or one-off “live snake tests.”
We’re taking a different, more transparent, and data-driven approach.
STRYK DEFENSE™ Snake-Resistant Gaiters are built with a Kevlar® composite armor system, USA-made construction, and tactical, low-bulk fit designed for hunters, ranchers, farmers, dog trainers, linemen, and anyone working in strike country.
To ensure accuracy and consumer trust, STRYK DEFENSE™ gaiters are undergoing official ANSI/ISEA 105 puncture testing using the ASTM F2878-19 hypodermic needle method—the standardized procedure used across professional PPE industries to evaluate resistance to sharp-point penetration.
Why ASTM F2878-19 Matters
While many puncture tests use blunt probes intended for general fabric durability, ASTM F2878-19 measures resistance to needle-like penetration, making it the most relevant standardized method for evaluating fang-like threats.
The test applies a controlled, measurable force (Newtons) to determine how resistant a material is to being pierced by a sharp, concentrated point.
This method does not attempt to imitate a live snake strike, but it does provide a consistent, scientific, and repeatable way to compare the puncture resistance of different constructions and materials.
Using validated testing allows us to offer customers data-driven insight, not assumptions.
Once testing is complete, we will publish full lab reports so customers can make informed, evidence-based decisions.
Where STRYK DEFENSE™ Stands Apart
- Kevlar® composite armor system
- USA-made construction using premium-grade materials
- ANSI/ISEA 105 puncture testing underway using the most relevant ASTM method
- Third-party results will be published for full transparency
- Designed for demanding real-world use in brush, timber, fields, and rugged terrain
- A data-first, transparency-first philosophy that is uncommon in this product category
What Most Competitors Do
Most snake-gaiter brands:
- Do not use the ASTM F2878-19 needle test (or rely on outdated ASTM F2878-10 results)
- Do not perform ANSI/ISEA 105 puncture testing
- Rely on non-standard demonstrations or internal testing
- Do not publish independent lab reports
- Provide limited transparency regarding material performance
These practices make it nearly impossible for customers to compare products using recognized, scientific testing criteria.
Raising the Bar for Transparency, Testing, and Trust
Our goal is simple:
Provide customers with clear, standardized information—not vague claims or unverifiable demonstrations.
Real Testing. Real Data. Real Protection.
⚠️ Safety & Warning Notice
T & K STRYK DEFENSE™ Snake-Resistant Gaiters are engineered using advanced multilayer materials and tested to ASTM puncture-resistance standards. While these gaiters offer a significant level of protection, no gaiter or garment can guarantee complete protection against all snake strikes, punctures, or bites.
Snake behavior, strike angle, fang condition, and environmental factors vary widely. Users should maintain awareness, practice safe movement, and exercise caution in snake habitat.
By using this product, the wearer acknowledges that snake encounters carry inherent risks and that this gaiter is intended to reduce— not eliminate — potential injury.
